PINBOARD

Materials -
  • Box Cutter

  • Cardboard (we used the bottom of an old box)

  • Hot Glue Gun & Sticks

  • Thin Patterned Cloth

  • Thumb Tacks

  • Wire

Instructions:
  1. Draw a rectangle (ours was 12"x16") on the scrap piece of cardboard, and cut it out using the box cutter.

  2. Place the cardboard rectangle on the cloth and cut off the excess cloth, leaving a margin of about two inches on all sides.

  3. Hot glue the cloth to the cardboard by adding two small dots of glue about four inches apart, and press and hold the wire into the glue.

  4. Use tacks and other pins to hold your decorations to your pinboard.

A pinboard can be very useful in a dorm room. Whether it's for keeping track of reminders or pinning up important articles, a pinboard is an easy-to-make and affordable project.
